"No. Of course not," she says with mock offense, leaning back against the armchair. "Worried about America's most wanted Avenger and the world's former most deadly assassin? What's the worst that could happen?"

She's usually better about choosing her words more carefully, but she's a little put off by the fact that she's so obvious. Still, she gives him a wry smile to show that she doesn't actually mean that she has anything to worry about with his presence there. She may still have some reservations, but if they were valid, they would've been proven right by this point and time already. She doesn't believe Bucky Barnes is a threat. At least, not to Steve.

She tilts her head slightly, as if considering his offer. "I'll think about it," she promises. "How long do you intend on staying?" She's surprised they've been here this long, if she's honest. Steve usually only stays in one place for a week at the most.
